“Sociology of Everything reflects who I am at my core. Through the Sociology of Cars video channel, podcast, and Cars & Breakfast gatherings, I’ve woven my passion for cars, community, and authentic storytelling into everything I do. Each piece is about bringing people together, sharing experiences and building connections that go beyond the cars themselves.”

“I go by Shift, and I identify as a driver. I’m a former Engineering Test Driver and current Porsche Driving Instructor. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always wanted to be behind the wheel of a car. I’m fascinated by how they perform and their capabilities approaching limits. I take pride in understanding different platforms and applying them in a dynamic setting, from sim to reality. Combining my technical understanding with sim driving, the two worlds merged into a deeper understanding of car control. I’ve been fortunate to have manifested a career by constantly pursuing my dreams and aspirations.”

"My love for cars started as a kid with Hot Wheels and grew into an obsession with learning about performance, specs, and value -- especially American sports cars like the Corvette, which I’ve always seen as the working man’s sports car. After buying my first Corvette in 2006, I was pulled into modifying cars, canyon carving, and eventually building my current, track-focused C6 inspired by the C6.R race cars. Exploring mountain roads introduced me to an incredible community of drivers who share a passion for great roads and the art of driving, no matter the car. Through this podcast, I want to explore the stories behind those drivers, discuss the culture and future of the community, and help bring people together in a way that encourages connection, responsibility, and better driving experiences for all.”

“My passion for cars began in childhood, working alongside my father, a mechanic, where I learned to repair and maintain our family vehicles. As I got older, that foundation grew into hands-on ownership across every corner of the automotive world, from American muscle to JDM imports to European performance cars, shaping my understanding of what it truly means to be an enthusiast. After co-hosting both Rennstreet Podcast and the Sociology of Cars Podcast, I developed my own storytelling voice and launched The Used Car Files, a community-driven show where listeners share bizarre, heartfelt, and unforgettable used-car experiences. Through these stories, I explore the emotional connection people form with cars and the search for meaningful vehicles beyond the newest models celebrated in mainstream media.”
